From ‘Heavens’ a star is born – the story of Yaw Antwi Bosiako
Mr Bosiako has been on the spotlight for his magnificent performances in the region and beyond.
Born Yaw Antwi Bosiako, with ‘HEAVENS’ as his stage name is a marketing graduate.
Twenty-three-year-old HEAVENS aspires to become one of Ghana’s most celebrated comedian and be counted on the list of successful poets in Africa.
Born on 19 October 1995, Heaven has lived in Buokrom estate all his life during which he had his primary and junior high school education where he gained some recognition as a poet.
He attended Kumasi Technical University where he acquired an HND in marketing.
He started his comedy and poetry from the Buokrom Assemblies of God church where he gained some attention and continued at various events in the metropolis.
HEAVENS explained
“It’s simple! a gift from God to mankind
It so hard to find something I cannot do, once I’m committed to it.
"I started with playing football
They use to call me ‘agyenkwa’ which is saviour. I once saved the team from a crucial rival encounter and the players started calling me HEAVENS.
"So I thought it wise to use heavens. And since then
Everyone calls me by that name.” He confidently said.
He has over 50 comedy videos on YouTube to his credit.
