GTA CEO honoured as Global Cultural Ambassador at Pre-Grammy Awards in Los Angeles
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Maame Efua Houadjeto, was honoured in Los Angeles, United States, with the Global Cultural Ambassador award at the Pre-Grammy Awards ceremony.
The recognition celebrates her efforts in promoting Ghana’s culture, tourism and creative arts on the international stage, as well as her role in strengthening cultural exchange between Ghana and the global community.
Receiving the award, Madam Houadjeto dedicated the honour to Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and the people of the country, describing the recognition as a testament to the nation’s growing influence in global tourism and entertainment.
She also used the opportunity to invite the international community to visit Ghana and experience the country’s renowned warmth and hospitality.
The award comes as Ghana continues to position itself as a leading cultural and tourism hub in Africa, with initiatives aimed at promoting heritage tourism, music, arts and the creative economy.
With increasing global attention on the country’s festivals, historical landmarks and entertainment industry, the latest recognition underscores Ghana’s expanding footprint on the world stage.
As Ghana’s culture continues to open doors internationally, the world, it appears, is paying close attention.
