GoldBod Jewellery appoints Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas as brand ambassadors
GoldBod Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board, has unveiled celebrated media mogul Kwabena Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, and award-winning actress and media personality Joselyn Dumas as its new Brand Ambassadors.
The appointment, according to management, is part of a strategic effort to promote Ghana’s rich gold heritage and to spotlight the nation’s excellence in authentic gold jewellery design, ethical sourcing, and world-class craftsmanship.
With Bola Ray’s influence in media and entrepreneurship and Joselyn Dumas’s global appeal and elegance, the collaboration is expected to elevate the GoldBod brand both locally and internationally.
Speaking at the official unveiling ceremony held at the GoldBod Head Office in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, described the partnership as a pivotal step toward positioning Ghana as a leader in luxury gold jewellery production across Africa.
“Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas represent excellence and authenticity—the very values that define the GoldBod Jewellery brand,” Mr. Gyamfi stated.
“Their appointment marks a major milestone in GoldBod’s mission to promote local value addition to Ghana’s gold resources.”
He further explained that the initiative aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of transforming Ghana into a continental hub for gold jewellery and ornaments, adding that GoldBod Jewellery’s operations are central to this national agenda.
Under their new ambassadorial roles, Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas will lead brand campaigns, media engagements, and public outreach initiatives designed to showcase GoldBod’s signature collections — including fine gold and diamond jewellery, bespoke ornaments, and luxury accessories.
The ambassadors are also expected to play a key role in educating consumers on ethical gold sourcing, supporting Ghana’s broader efforts to promote sustainability and transparency in the mining value chain.
The event concluded with a preview of GoldBod’s upcoming jewellery line, featuring handcrafted designs inspired by Ghanaian cultural motifs and modern luxury trends — reinforcing the brand’s commitment to merging tradition with innovation.
