I’m a big fan of Prince Benjamin – Jon Germain
Radio personality Jon Germain has said he is a big fan of the host of Class 91.3FM’s Class Drive (CD), Prince Benjamin.
Chauffeur Prince Benjamin’s show airs every weekday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Class91.3 FM.
Speaking about the evolution of the radio industry in Ghana over the years on the Inspire Series on the Class Drive on Thursday, 26 August 2019, the Starr FM mid-morning show host said: “I remember tweeting about you and talking about the fact that anytime I listen to you, it reminds me of why I wanted to be a radio presenter or a broadcaster.
“I’m not saying this because I’m here; I’m a big fan because I’ve said it on twitter. I’m a big fan, I listen to you on radio and I go like: ‘Wow, who’s this guy?’ I remember the first time I heard you, I sent a message to the studios of the other station – ‘Who’s that guy?’”
Jon Germain noted that: “It’s always great to know that there are people like you [Prince Benjamin] on radio now because it got to a time [that] you listen to a lot of people on radio [and] they sound quite annoying but they play great songs, so, it was a mixture and it was quite good.
“But it’s still good to know you can still tune in to radio and listen to somebody who has an amazing voice and the music is great as well because if you go anywhere in the world, the voice is first; yes, then the great music, so, I listen to you and I’m amazed”, he gushed.
Jon Germain, who is also a songwriter and singer, has released his latest song called ‘Open Up’ featuring Jupitar.
He also has an upcoming album titled: ‘Cat Amongst Pigeons’.
