I resisted peer pressure to do drugs – Adjetey Sowah
Veteran Ghanaian dancer, Adjetey Sowah, has disclosed that he resisted pressure from his friends to engage in drugs during the peak of his career.
The former world dancing champion recalled that his peers would have easily lured him into their illicit drug escapades if Christianity had not shaped his lifestyle.
Adjetey Sowah entreated the youth to desist from drug abuse because it has the tendency of destroying their future.
He urged them to channel their energies into education, which, he said, would make them better persons in society.
Speaking on Accra-based Citi TV, the dancer said: “I regret not taking my education seriously because it gets to some point that you want to express yourself but you can’t. The youth should stay out of drugs and be focused and be diligent about their trade.”
