I’ve never made profit from Miss Ghana – Inna Patty

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of Miss Ghana beauty pageant, Inna Maryam Patty has disclosed that her organisation has never made profit from the beauty pageant since she took over the franchise.
Miss Ghana has been bedeviled with challenges with some beauty queens accusing organisers of allegedly forcing them to use their crowns to solicit for funding from rich businessmen.
Exclusive Events have, however, always denied the allegations.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM, Ms Patty indicated that although she bought the franchise with several thousands of dollars, organising the event is out of passion because it has not brought her any financial gains.
“I finance a lot of the things by myself, most of the travels are paid by me because it’s my passion and I love it. I decided to put away the family business to do Miss Ghana because it’s my passion,” she stated.
“At this point, it’s your passion because it doesn’t pay the bill. From 2012 till date, we’ve never made a profit. We’ve never made a dime. The books are there; you can come and have a look at them,” she added.
