Kojo Antwi joins European Union Day celebrations in Accra
Renowned Highlife musician Kojo Antwi, popularly known as The Maestro, was among the distinguished guests invited to celebrate European Union Day and the 50th anniversary of the partnership between the EU and Ghana.
The event, which brought together the EU Ambassador, various European diplomats, and high-profile guests, served as a platform to showcase the cultural ties between the two entities.
The celebration featured a diverse display of music, food, and art, emphasising the theme of unity.
Reflecting on the experience in a Facebook post, the singer-songwriter called Mr Music Man expressed his gratitude for the invitation, describing the occasion as a beautiful experience and a celebration of long-standing diplomatic and cultural cooperation.
The 2026 European Union Day marks a significant milestone in the EU-Ghana relationship, highlighting half a century of collaboration in various sectors.
