Kyeiwaa warns youth: 'Don’t joke with your education, I regret a lot now'
Movie star Rose Akua Attaa Tutugyagu Kyeiwaa has cautioned young people to take their education seriously if they want to increase their chances at success and get the best out of life.
She spoke via a video posted to her Instagram, Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
“If you refuse to go to school, you will not see the consequences immediately but they will surely catch up with you,” Kyeiwaa said.
“A time will come, you’ll travel and you’ll face the unpleasant results of your choosing not to take your education seriously.”
The US-based Kumawood actress appealed to the youth to consider the back-breaking work parents do, sacrificing their comfort and hard-earned money, to ensure they could give them quality education.
“Please do as you parents have asked. Focus and study hard,” she urged.
Kyeiwaa confessed, among other undisclosed things, she was struggling to communicate in English living abroad, intimating it was because she had not given her formal education its due attention some years ago.
“If you don’t heed this advice, this same thing will happen to you,” she emphasised. “I’ve experienced this and I am cautioning you.”
In conclusion, she said: “Everyone should do their very best and go to school.”
