UK-based Ghanaian singer-songwriter, Minister Yvonne, alias Yvonne Asamoah-Tawiah, has released the visuals for track 6 ‘Give Me Rest’ from her new album titled 'Faith'.

In the 4 minute video, the singer who doubles as an HR Specialist with the British Armed Forces, invokes God's rest over her and fellow believers. According to her, the song was inspired by Matthew 11:28 which says: “Come unto Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

“The world is full of stress and we face challenges, hardships, trials, wearies everyday of our lives that sometimes makes it difficult for us to subdue and have dominion," she also said. "The song is therefore a sweet invitation for those who are labouring to seek rest from God."

'Give Me Rest' was produced at the UBBS Studio and the video was directed by FiMenz.

Minister Yvonne, in 2021, was declared the Gospel Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards UK.

Her 'Faith' album was released on Saturday, October 22, 2022, and packs 10 tracks.
