My dream collabo'll be with Daddy Lumba – Kidi
Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer, Kidi, has said doing a song with Daddy Lumba will be his dream collaboration.
The ‘Odo’ hitmaker was speaking in an interview with Prince Benjamin on the Class Drive on Class91.3FM.
Kidi explained that although he considers all the highlife legends as his fathers, it would be a dream come true to have Daddy Lumba on the same song.
“First of all, all of them are my daddies but, of course, I’ll go with Daddy Lumba because as I sit here currently, I have a song that is there, that song won’t come out until I get Daddy Lumba on it. I have a song that is there and the only person that I need on that song is Daddy Lumba; it is just there waiting for the right opportunity. Once I get him, God help me, you people will hear the song,” Kidi stated.
He also entreated his fans to “pray that Kidi will get to meet Daddy Lumba so that this song can actually happen.”
Kidi is currently promoting his new song titled: ‘Enjoyment.’
