Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim says her ex-boyfriend’s apology to her over their breakup has come a tad too late although she said she forgave him a long time ago.


The Nigerian rapper, Iceberg Slim, early in the week, penned an apology letter to the actress on Instagram.

He admitted he lied and cheated on her and asked for her forgiveness.

Responding to the apology note on Ayekoo Ayekoo on Accra100.5FM on Wednesday, 14 August 2019, the award-winning actress said: “First of all, I think it’s [apology] coming too late. I appreciate the fact that he’s apologising and clearing the air because I remember when it started everybody was attacking me. I have no idea why they will always choose to attack the woman when a breakup happens, but that was life; I went through it, I was strong enough to ignore all the negative comments and negative remarks made on me. I’m just glad and I know he’s a very good person, so, for him to do this, I pray it helps him with the healing he talked about and I’m glad he came out to say it for everybody to know what happened.”

Asked by the host Nana Romeo if she would take back Iceberg Slim, Juliet replied: “Oh no! how?”.
