OK Frimpong reveals why he 'singlehandedly' sponsored Medikal's O2 Ingido (London) event

Entrepreneur and politician Ohene Kwame Frimpong, otherwise known as OK Frimpong, has expressed his elation for “singlehandedly” sponsoring rapper Medikal’s (MDK) first-ever UK headline show at the O2 Indigo, London, in May 2024.
Sitting with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo, Thursday, October 17, he explained why he got involved with the show.
“I have a very, very good relationship with my brother MDK, and Shatta [Wale]. We spoke about the event, agreed on the way forward and executed a massive concert via OK Frimpong's May Day Entertainment. Everybody saw how success it was when MDK went to the O2 Indigo,” OK Frimpong said.
“It was a topnotch event, sold-out,” he proudly noted.
“I’m happy I singlehandedly funded the event as OK Frimpong. Anything I put my hands to or add my strength to succeeds tremendously. I am like salt. I improve and make anything I do tasty,” he underlined.
Giving God praise, he declared: “If I can do this all by myself, what exactly can I not do?”
He saluted Medikal for a successful event at the O2 Indigo, and wished Shatta Wale a happy birthday since “today is his birthday – pah, pah, pah, pah, pah!”
OK Frimpong, also, noted he organised the 2018 show Amakye Dede and Kwame Eugene took to the Dominion Centre, London.
Ohene Kwame Frimpong is an independent parliamentary candidate for the Asante Akyem North Constituency.
As Ghana goes to the polls on Saturday, December 7, OK Frimpong launches his campaign on November 3 at the Agogo Presby Park, Asante Akyem North, Ashanti region.
