Pappy Kojo has said he has "quit music".

He made the announcement on X, Sunday, July 14, 2024.

According to his post, he feels fulfilled after accomplishing two of his ultimate dreams in life: sharing a stage and mic with his idol, rap legend Obrafour, and sharing a bed with a female movie superstar.

The rap star, nicknamed Fante Vandam, said, "as [a] kid, all I wanted to do is grow up, perform with Obrafour [and] sleep with one of the biggest actresses in Ghana. I’ve now done both so I quit music".

In videos attached to the X post, Pappy Kojo and Obrafour were seen performing the latter's hits including Asem Sebe. In the third video, a very young Pappy Kojo, surrounded by other children, was captured enjoying and rapping along to Obrafour's Who Born You By Mistake at what looked like a party.

Although the Italy-based Ghanaian musician and fashion influencer did not name the actress he was gleefully involved with, a comment under the post suggested it was an entertainment figure called YN.

Another comment sought proof he had indeed been with the unnamed actress, since he had provided sufficient evidence for one of his dreams fulfilled.

Concerning his quitting of music, it would not be surprising if the Takoradi-native, known for his elaborate jokes and trolling, was speaking hyperbolically, however.

Pappy Kojo burst onto the Ghana music scene in 2013. The award-winning rapper became famous for hits like Realer No, Ay3 Late, and Awo'a. In 2018, his Akwaaba song with GuiltyBeatz, Patapaa and Mr Eazi became a viral international hit.
