Sincerely Accra observes that ‘loyalty’ is a big problem in modern relationships

Given the letters received on Ghana's prime podcast Sincerely Accra, co-founder and host Joseph Nti has intimated there is a serious lack of loyalty in amorous relationships in the city of Accra.
Nti guested on The Big Show on Class 91.3 FM, Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Host Nana Kwesi Asare asked about some of the strange revelations Sincerely Accra podcast has made for the past six years of its existence.
“I think what I have come to understand is that people are really going through it when it comes to relationships,” Joseph Nti answered.
“Apparently, there is no loyalty,” he explained.
He said the podcast has “a listener letter segment where people write in” about their concerning stories in search of a listening ear and advice.
“The things that people are doing in Accra!” Nti exclaimed, adding with a hint of worry: “Now when I see married people, when I see people in relationships, I don’t even believe it anymore. Yeah, because people are actually doing wild things.”
He noted that the source of the letters is regularly kept anonymous and “we’re getting a lot of serious revelations”.
“I’d say yeah, I’m really surprised with relationships and marriages in this city,” he added, shrugging. “I don’t know what people are doing but everybody is up to something.”
Sincerely Accra is the creation of producer Kwame Asante Ofori and host Joseph Nti.
