Zylofon Music unveils, signs new artiste

Nana Appiah Mensah’s Zylofon Music has officially unveiled and signed budding Ghanaian female artiste Tiisha on the record label.
The Afro pop singer was welcomed to the Zylofon Music family at a relaunch of the record label on Friday, 12 June 2020.
She is the latest addition to highlife musician Kumi Guitar and rapper Obibini on the record label.
Tiisha, who is known by many for having a voice similar to the late Ebony’s, had been around on the music scene and the Zylofon brand for some time, until the news was made public at the recent relaunch party.
The event, which marks a new beginning for the record label, saw the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), popularly known as NAM1, make his first public appearance this year, together with top creative arts industry players.
The likes of Stonebwoy, Edem, James Gardiner, Zynell Zuh, Joyce Blessing, Sefa, Ms Forson, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Bull Dog and Eno Barony were there to show support.
In a related development, Artiste and Repertoire (A&R) Manager with Zylofon Music, popularly known as Skinny Willis, told Akwasi Aboagye on Accra-based Peace FM’s Entertainment Review show on Saturday that musicians Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Becca and Joyce Blessing, who, previously had been signed to the Zylofon Music record label, were no longer signees because their various contracts had expired.
He, however, indicated that they were still part of the Zylofon family.
