Former Emir of Kano and Khalifa of Nigeria calls on Otumfuo
The Former Emir of Kano and Khalifa of Nigeria, Muhammad Sanusi II, has paid a courtesy call on Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
Sanusi Lamido’s presence in the region comes prior to the end-of-year prayers to be held by his people.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II commended described Sanusi II’s leadership as an anointed one, adding that through their prayers, the whole of Nigeria and Ghana as well as Africa, will be blessed in the coming years.
The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was in the company of Prof Ibrahim Makari, the Abuja National Chief Imam; Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul Ramani, the Mosi chief who represented the Kumasi Sarki Zongo; the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin, and the former Offinso South MP Ben Abdallah Banda among others.
