A&C on damages from Tuesday’s downpour: ‘No injuries were recorded’

A&C Development operators of the popular A&C Mall, East Legon, Accra, a vibrant retail hub housing shops, eateries, banks and entertainment centres, has issued a statement concerning the damage witnessed at the facility's car park due to the downpour on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
“We regret to inform you that not too long ago, the solar panel structure in our parking area collapsed due to heavy rain,” the statement issued by the A&C Mall management noted.
“Thankfully, no injuries were recorded,” it revealed.
“Our team, along with the relevant authorities, is on-site to manage the situation and ensure a swift resolution,” it assured.
“We sincerely apologize for any distress or inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience as we work to address the situation. Your safety remains our top priority.
“We will keep the public informed on any updates.”
Citi News reported at least 50 cars damaged by the collapse of the solar panel during the storm.
