A/R: 8-year-old boy butchered by suspected madman
An 8-year-old boy, identified simply as Kwaku, has been brutally butchered to death by a suspected madman, believed to be in his 30s.
The horrific incident in the Abrepo Asubonteng community in the Bantama constituency of the Ashanti region, has left residents in shock and grief.
According to eyewitnesses, Kwaku and his sister were sent to buy a rubber bag and encountered the alleged madman on their return. The sister managed to escape, but Kwaku was caught and mercilessly slaughtered.
Community members attempted to intervene but were intimidated by the madman's possession of two sharp cutlasses.
