A/R: Collapsed building crashes 2-yr-old to death
Nana Kojo was playing with other children behind the cracked building on Saturday, 23 March 2019, when the structure caved in on him.
The other children were able to run for their lives, escaping unhurt.
The remains of the little boy were removed from the rubble by personnel of the Ghana Police Service and Ghana National Fire Service with the help of the locals, Mr Kwaku Boateng, an Assemblyman for Atwima Agogo told Kumasi FM's Elisha Adarkwah.
The body has been deposited at Afari Hospital morgue awaiting an autopsy.
The Assemblyman said the community has so many buildings which have developed cracks, adding that he has planned to demolish the weak structures next week.
He said one of such buildings, which was very close to the scene, was immediately demolished after the incident.
