A/R: Drivers to march over bad roads
They have also threatened to boycott the 2020 general elections if their demand is not met.
The aggrieved drivers say road networks in communities like Asuofua, Achiase, Amoaman, Heman, Pasoro, Amakyebare and other areas all in the district have developed potholes and keep on deteriorating.
The drivers told Kumasi FM's Elisha Adarkwah that several complaints and petitions have been channelled to the necessary authorities especially the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Benito Owusu Bio and the District Chief Executive for the area, Rebecca Yeboah but have yielded no result.
While expressing disappointment in the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Benito Owusu Bio, they said he has made several promises to them over the roads but failed to fulfil them.
The drivers have, therefore, given the government a two-week ultimatum to begin works on the road or they demonstrate.
