Another Ahmed murder suspect arrested
The latest arrest brings to two, the number of suspects who have been arrested by the police over the killing.
The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Abdul Rasheed.
Ahmed Hussein-Saule, the partner to undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, was shot in the chest by unidentified men on a motorbike in Madina, a suburb of Accra on 16 January 2019 in his car while driving home.
Mr Hussein-Suale played a key role in the Number 12 exposé which captured massive corruption in Ghana and African football.
The exposé led to the resignation of former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi and the dissolution of football in the country.
The police earlier indicated that it has interrogated 13 suspects in connection with the murder.
