BECE: Be calm, work hard – Mahama to 517,000 candidates

Former President John Dramani Mahama has wished all the pupils sitting for the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which starts today, Monday, 10 June 2019, well.
Mr Mahama in a Facebook post urged the candidates to “remain calm and work harder for success.”
Over Five hundred thousand pupils from 16,871 schools are sitting this year.
Out of the 517,332 candidates, 263,616 are males and 153,716 are females.
