Bawumia to launch rent assistance scheme on Jan 31

The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, launch the National Rental Assistance Scheme (NRAS) at the Accra International Conference Centre in the Greater Accra Region.
The launch of the scheme is in fulfilment of the Akufo-Addo-led government’s promise in view of the difficulties Ghanaians, especially the youth, face in securing decent residential rental accommodation in urban areas.
The Ministry of Works and Housing announced the launch in a statement dated January 26, 2023.
