Chief of Staff, Bawumia mourn with Ameyaw Akumfi and brothers
The Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Osei Opare on Saturday, November 27 2021 represented president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in Techiman, the regional capital of Bono East region to mourn with Prof Christopher Ameyaw Akumfi and his brother Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah who is the deputy minister for Local Government and Rural Development over the passing of their mother.
The deceased, Madam Veronica Yaa Owusuaa, 70, was the biological mother of Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi and Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, who is the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Techiman South Constituency in the region.
The funeral was attended by Vice President Dr, Mahamudu Bawumia, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament (MP), government officials, party faithful, and grassroots supporters of the party.
Prof Ameyaw Akumfi is the Board Chairman for Public Procurement Agency (PPA) and aspiring NPP National Chairman.
