Ghana Afcon exit: Resign! – Mallam Issah to Asiamah
Mallam Issah said the Black Stars performed abysmally throughout the tournament, a situation that showed a lack of leadership on the part of the coach and the current Minister of Sports, Mr Isaac Asiamah.
He called for the dissolution of the Black Stars management committee for a new one to be reconstituted.
The Black Stars were knocked out of the Afcon competition by Tunisia on Monday, 8 July 2019 through penalty shootouts.
Mallam Issah said: “The Sports Minister should resign because he promised us he was going to bring the cup home but he has failed to achieve that. Likewise, the Black Stars management committee members should all resign.”
“I would have resigned if I were the sports minister,” he added.
