Ghanaian delegation returns from China with new opportunities for tourism and creative industry

A Ghanaian delegation has returned from a high-level government-led engagement in China, bringing back key insights and opportunities aimed at strengthening Ghana’s tourism, culture, and creative sectors.

The team, which included representatives from the tourism and creative industry, reported to the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie, on the milestones achieved and potential collaborations secured during the mission.

The engagement highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships and global cooperation in creating new pathways for national growth.

Speaking on the return, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA), Gilbert Aggrey, expressed gratitude for the trust and guidance provided, noting that the support enabled meaningful contributions to discussions that position Ghana for future development.

Alongside the Executive Director of HOTCATT, Mr. Eric Kofi Afornorpe, emphasised that they are now focused on translating the outcomes of the China engagement into tangible benefits for Ghana’s tourism and creative economy.
