Legal practitioner and Senior Aide to President John Mahama,  Joyce Bawah Mogtari has joined the commemoration of Purple Month in a high-level diplomatic gathering attended by the Swiss Ambassador to Ghana, Simone Giger, members of the diplomatic corps, and partners of the EVE International Foundation.

The event, held to spotlight inclusion and advocacy, also celebrated the contributions of Her Royal Highness Lady Julia Osei Tutu for her sustained commitment to advancing the welfare of women, children, persons with disabilities, and mental health awareness.

Participants described the evening as one marked by meaningful engagement, strategic networking, and renewed collaboration among stakeholders working toward a more compassionate and inclusive society.

Discussions at the gathering emphasized the importance of partnerships across diplomatic, civil society, and advocacy spaces in addressing social challenges and strengthening support systems for vulnerable groups.

The atmosphere was described as reflective yet forward-looking, with a shared resolve to deepen impact-driven initiatives.

Beyond the formal engagements, a broader reflection emerged on the value of building relationships across diverse circles. Participants and observers alike noted that openness to collaboration and constructive engagement can create “new territories” of opportunity for individuals and institutions willing to contribute unique strengths toward shared goals.

The message resonated with a wider call to build social capital and credibility through tact, diplomacy, and influence.

It further stressed that sustainable impact is rooted in humility, mutual respect, and the ability to engage constructively even in complex social and professional environments.
