MUYAD Social Services has expressed deep sadness over the tragic events at El-Wak Stadium, where six people lost their lives and many others were injured during the army recruitment screening exercise.

The organisation is calling for a thorough investigation into the incident and urging the government to provide a state burial for the deceased and fair compensation to the affected families.

In a statement, Executive Director Adnan Adams Mohammed emphasised the need for accountability and justice, stating that the loss of life affects not only the immediate families but the entire country.

MUYAD Social Services is advocating for the protection of human rights and standing in solidarity with the victims' families.

The Ghana Armed Forces has suspended the recruitment process and launched an investigation into the incident.

The authorities are working to notify the families of the deceased and provide medical care to the injured.
