The High Court in Accra has announced multiple dates in February for a Case Management Conference (CMC) in the criminal trial involving former National Petroleum Authority (NPA) Chief Executive Dr. Mustapha Hamid and nine co-accused.

The individuals are facing charges related to the alleged extortion of oil marketing companies during Dr. Hamid’s tenure.

Justice Audrey Kocuvie-Tay stated in court that specific sessions will be dedicated solely to the CMC, with proceedings beginning at 8:15 a.m. on each scheduled day.

The conference has been set for February 2, 9, 12, 17, 19, and 23, with February 2 marking the start of the proceedings. The court also reiterated that, under the revised bail conditions, the accused must report once to the Office of the Special Prosecutor during February.
