One dead, 31 injured in crash near Offinso SDA Hospital
One person has died and 31 others sustained injuries following a road crash at Offinso Namong near the SDA Hospital in the Ashanti Region.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, June 21, 2026, and involved a KIA Grandbird bus and a HOWO articulator truck.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), personnel from the Offinso Fire Station responded to the incident at about 5:19 AM.
The injured victims were rescued by members of the public and transported to the SDA Hospital for medical treatment.
The fire service confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is yet to be established and remains under investigation.
