Tema East MP attends induction of new Eastern Naval Command Flag officer
The Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Isaac Ashai Odamtten, on Sunday, August 31, joined officers and community leaders at the Eastern Naval Command – Dei Arms Square, Naval Base, Tema Newtown, for the induction service of Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi, the newly appointed Flag Officer Commanding the Eastern Naval Command.
Themed “Leading with God’s Wisdom and Discernment,” the ceremony highlighted the importance of spiritual grounding in leadership, particularly for individuals entrusted with safeguarding national security.
The service brought together senior military officials, local leaders, and residents in a united show of support for Commodore Asiedu-Larbi as he assumes his new role.
In his address, Hon. Odamtten congratulated the Flag Officer on his appointment and underscored the need for ethical leadership in national development.
“Leadership grounded in wisdom and discernment serves as the foundation for effective service and community progress,” he remarked.
“We look forward to collaborative efforts in enhancing security and development within the Eastern Naval Command area and the broader Tema community.”
