The Ashaiman Circuit Court in the Greater Accra Region has sentenced Freeman Kudjo, a resident of Zenu in Ashaiman, to 10 years and three months’ imprisonment for assaulting and robbing a woman of her mobile phones.
The complainant, whose name has been withheld, resides at East Legon.
She reportedly met Kudjo on Facebook, where he proposed friendship.
On August 26, 2025, Kudjo invited her to meet him at Community 22 Estate in Ashaiman.
Shortly after their meeting, the two decided to take a walk within the area.
