Assault case at Nkawkaw: Suspect's sentencing deferred to July 2

On June 26, 2024, the Ghana Police Service arraigned Ayivor Elikplim, who was arrested on June 25, 2024, for assaulting a female colleague at a financial institution in Nkawkaw.
Elikplim pleaded guilty to the charge and was convicted based on his plea.
He was remanded into police custody and scheduled to reappear on June 28, 2024.
Elikplim appeared before the Nkawkaw District Court today; however, the sentencing has been deferred to Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
