Nurse who 'roasted' engineer husband jailed
Zeinab Muhammad Ali, a nurse working at the Tamale Teaching Hospital's Emergency Burns Unit Red Zone in the Northern Region, has been sentenced to six years in imprisonment with hard labour.
This decision comes after she poured boiling water on her husband during a dispute, leaving him with severe burn injuries.
The altercation reportedly arose from a misunderstanding between Zeinab and her husband.
In a heated moment, she resorted to pouring boiling water on him after he refused to allow her to use his car.
Following the incident, Zeinab was arrested and brought before the Tamale High Court, where Justice Eric Ansah Ankomah presided over her case.
She was charged with causing harm and subsequently sentenced to six years in prison.
Meanwhile, the victim is currently receiving treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) for the severe burn injuries inflicted upon him by his wife
