Guns and explosives were retrieved from a hospital at Alajo in Accra, where the suspects had, allegedly, been meeting to plot their takeover of the country’s government.

They Are being tried for treason along with three others, including police chief ACP Dr Benjamin Agordzo.

Ruling on the application filed by their lawyer, Mr Victor Kodjogah Adawudu, the court said: “The application for bail will be repeated if no progress is made in the prosecution by the end of January 2020”.
