V/R: Pastor, wife murdered at Ayitikope; decomposing bodies found after days

A pastor identified as Gbedema Augustine and his wife, Comfort Gbedema, both of Harmony With Jesus Ministry, were found dead in their home at Ayitikope in the Akatsi South District of Volta Region Friday night.
The police suspect the couple may have been murdered about four days ago.
The neighbours of the deceased couple also suspect they were killed.
Both bodies have bloated are filled with putrescence and maggots.
The pastor’s body was on the compound of the house while the wife’s almost naked remains were in their hall.
The Akatsi South police command has locked the main entrance to the crime scene to prevent the huge crowd of onlookers, from entering to interfere with the investigation.
The police has also urged the community to be calm and volunteer any information anyone may have about the incident to speed up investigations.
