A/R: PGSM alumni meet Kumasi Mayor
The Kumasi Chapter of the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM) alumni in Ghana on Saturday, 23 November 2019 held a meeting with the Mayor of Kumasi, Osei Assibey Antwi.
The meeting which was held at the Golden Beam Hotel in Kumasi was for the Mayor to interact and share his thoughts with the alumnus of PGSM as a buildup on the theme of the recent inauguration of PGSM Alumni Ghana which was held in Accra in line with a number of initiatives to boost efforts to promote effective and productive networking among members and the Alumni in general.
The Kumasi Mayor, who is also an alumni of PGSM assured members of the Kumasi Chapter who were present at the meeting of his readiness to support the efforts in this regard by reaching out to all the many other prestigious products of the Paris Graduate School of Management in Ghana to ensure a significant number of them; if not all, come on board to lend their support for this worthy cause.
Mr Assibey Antwi also advised leadership of the Alumni to invest and commit significantly to improving the publicity efforts of the Alumni, improve engagement among members and also between the Alumni and the general public.
He stressed on the importance of the Alumni engaging in the facilitation of short professional development courses in collaboration with PGSM and also the hosting of Lectures on issues of National Interest, where experts and stakeholders can be brought under one-roof to digest and deliberate on issues of National Development.
The Mayor also emphasised the need for members to remain extremely professional and effective in all they do and wherever they find themselves to ensure the prestige and respect that comes with the qualifications they earn from PGSM, shall remain in high regard.
The PGSM is currently ranked among the very best private Universities in France and has over the years trained and passed out over 3,000 Ghanaians in a number of discipline.
