Ada SHS students perish in Volta river

Two students of the Ada Senior High School (SHS) in the Greater Accra Region, have been washed away by tidal waves in the Volta River close to their school.
The two students are reported to have gone to the Volta River, to take a bath due to a recent water shortage that hit the school.
They were, however, washed away by tidal waves.
All efforts by onlookers to save the students proved futile.
The bodies of the students have since been found.
