Akufo-Addo to launch smart schools project March 25
In a bid to enhance e-learning and digitalisation, the Akufo-Addo-led government is set to launch the ‘Ghana Smart Schools Project’ initiative.
The initiative slated to be launched on Monday, 25 March 2024, by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is geared towards bolstering Senior High School Education by providing Teaching and Learning Management Systems, Digital Learning Content, and Electronic Devices to all Senior/TVET schools across the country.
A statement issued ahead of the launch by the Ministry of Education, signed by its Spokesperson Kwasi Kwarteng indicated the initiative aligns with the Ministry’s “digitalisation agenda for pre-tertiary education.”
It also “supports government’s goal of leveraging technological advancements to prepare Ghanaian students for the fourth industrial revolution,” the statement revealed.
