B/R: MP donates equipment to education directorate
On October 1, 2024, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani East Constituency in the Bono Region, Mr. Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh, made a significant contribution to the Bono Regional Education Directorate, reinforcing his dedication to enhancing educational infrastructure in the region.
The MP donated two printers and a photocopier to help improve the directorate’s administrative efficiency and support its educational operations.
The donation was made during a brief but meaningful ceremony held at the directorate’s offices in Sunyani, attended by key officials from the Bono Regional Education Directorate.
In his remarks, Mr. Ameyaw Cheremeh highlighted the critical role of efficient office operations in ensuring the smooth delivery of education across the region.
"The work of the directorate is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of schools in our region.
This donation is meant to support their efforts by enhancing document processing and management,” he stated.
The printers and photocopier will assist the directorate with tasks such as administrative work and communication with schools under its oversight.
The donation comes at a time when many educational institutions are experiencing resource constraints, making the equipment an essential addition that will help streamline the work of both educators and administrators.
Bono Regional Director of Education, Mr. Gabriel Antwi, expressed his deep appreciation for the donation, noting that the machines will significantly ease the office’s workload and improve its operational efficiency. “We have long needed equipment like this to facilitate our daily activities.
Mr. Cheremeh’s support is a timely intervention, and we are truly appreciative of his continuous dedication to the educational sector,” he remarked.
