BECE 2021: UG V-C holds consecration service for candidates
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, on Monday, 15 November 2021, held a consecration service for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) candidates of the University of Ghana Basic School (UBS).
The service was held to inspire the candidates to put in their maximum efforts in the ongoing exams.
Prof Amfo urged the candidates to emulate the example of Ghana’s youngest female pilot, Audrey Esi Swatson and others who continue to make the UBS proud as they write the exams.
She also wished them well in the exams.
This year’s BECE began on Monday, 15 November 2021.
The five-day exam will be written at all 2,158 centres across the country.
In all, 571,894 candidates are expected to take the exam.
