COVID-19: POJOBA donates to staff of alma mater
The Pope John Old Boys’ Association (POJOBA) has donated protective gear to the staff and management of the Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary.
Members of the Old Boys’ Association said they saw the need to donate 200 face shields to help the teachers in rendering academic services to the students.
Final-year and second-year gold track students of senior high schools in Ghana reported to school on 22 June 2020 to resume academic work after a three-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
There have been several interventions by the government to ensure the safety of the students in the academic community prior to the resumption of school.
However, the old students said: “As people who were once part of the POJOSS community, POJOBA has contributed its widow’s mite to ensure the safety of teachers and staff as they make contacts with students”.
