The Ghana Library Authority has closed the window for applications for its e-learning project dubbed Read2skill.

The project forms part of the Authority's 2020 Year of Learning strategy to offer Ghanaians the opportunity to enrol on Udemy – the world’s largest open-learning platform.

A statement issued by the Authority said: “Within 72 hours of the launch of the Read2skill project, we have recorded over 17,000 applications”.

It added: “We have since been reviewing the applications and are close to selecting the 1,000 successful applicants”.

GhLA urged the “applicants to remain calm as we issue notifications to successful individuals”.
