Gov't extends deadline for ‘No Fees Stress’ applications to August 7

The Students' Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced a final extension of the application deadline for its flagship “No Fees Stress” Policy, giving eligible students until Thursday, August 7, 2025, to submit their applications for academic fee reimbursement for the 2024/2025 academic year.
According to a statement issued by the SLTF’s Corporate Communications Directorate and signed by Mr Obeng Agyenim Boateng, the extension is intended to give applicants additional time to complete their submissions.
The Trust, however, emphasised that this is the final deadline and warned that no further extensions will be granted beyond August 7.
“All eligible students are urged to submit their applications on or before this date to take advantage of the ‘No Fees Stress’ Policy,” the statement read.
The initiative aims to provide timely and accessible financial assistance to Ghanaian tertiary students, in line with SLTF’s commitment to reducing financial barriers to higher education.
Students seeking support are encouraged to apply through the official portal at www.nofeesstress.sltf.gov.gh, or contact the SLTF for assistance via 0302 751 020 or [email protected].
