A/R: Adehye99.1FM's 'Masem show' donates to Cherubs Children's Home
'Masem', a flagship programme on Adehye 99.1 FM, a subsidiary of the Class Media Group (CMG) in Kumasi, has donated some assorted items to the Cherubs Children's Home at Santase-Apire in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti Region.
The items donated on Friday, December 3, 2021, include clothes, shoes, rice, oil, drinks, toiletries among others worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
They also dined with the orphans and entertained them at the premises of the home.
The donation was part of the first-anniversary celebration of the social programme, which is aired from 10 am to 12 pm every weekday.
The host of the show, Akosua Nsroma, presented the items to the orphanage.
She said the donation was part of the show's corporate social responsibility to give back o society as they celebrate the anniversary.
While commending the listeners of the radio station for their contribution to the donation presented, she promised them a more impactful and best show in the subsequent years.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Cherubs Children's Home was its social worker Adusei Wilson.
He thanked Adehye FM and its management for the donation.
Mr Wilson said the items had come on time because they were in critical need of such items as Christmas was fast approaching.
He appealed to other organisations and philanthropists to come to the aid of the children's home.
