A/R: K’si Central Mosque honours Bawumia

Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia has been been recognised for his contribution toward the renovation of the Kumasi Central Mosque in the Ashanti Region.
Dr Bawumia was honoured with a citation in recognition of his contribution.
The Kumasi Central Mosque Committee, under the leadership of Acting Ashanti regional Zongo Chief, Alhaji Ibrahim Adam Sanfo, presented the citation to Dr Bawumia.
The Vice President accepted the citation during his attendance at Friday prayers at the mosque.
During this visit, he expressed gratitude to God for the success of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries, where he emerged flagbearer.
Dr Bawumia took the opportunity to unveil a car prize for the upcoming annual Quran recitation competition in the Ashanti region.
The donation was made by presidential staffer Alhaji Ali Suraj.
Representing the Vice President at the mosque, Alhaji Ben Abdallah Banda, the Coordinator for the Zongo and Inner-Cities Development Secretariat, urged the community to offer prayers and support for Dr Bawumia's success in the upcoming 2024 general election.
