The campaign team for John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate, has unveiled a series of significant events planned for this week as he prepares for the 2024 elections.

These activities emphasize Mahama’s dedication to inclusivity, community engagement, and faith.

Kicking off the week, the NDC Women’s Manifesto will be launched in Kumasi on Monday, September 30, 2024. The event will be led by Mahama and his Vice-Presidential Candidate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the Ashanti Region.

This manifesto focuses on women's empowerment and promoting gender inclusivity in governance, reflecting Mahama’s long-standing commitment to enhancing women's participation in leadership roles.

Following the launch, Mahama will engage with Christian leaders in Accra on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, as part of his #MahamaConversations series.

This dialogue aims to explore the values that unite Ghanaians and the role of faith in national development. During the session, Mahama is expected to reiterate his promise to establish a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, fostering interfaith collaboration and spiritual reflection for national progress.

To conclude the week, Mahama will embark on a four-day campaign tour of the North East and Savanna Regions, starting Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

This tour is designed to facilitate direct engagement with Ghanaians, particularly in rural areas, addressing economic challenges and rising prices.

The campaign emphasizes Mahama’s vision of “Building the Ghana We Want,” which focuses on collaborative efforts to rejuvenate the economy and tackle critical issues facing citizens nationwide.
