Aboabo: Fire razes 30 shops
Fire swept through the top floor of a two-storey building near Aboabo station in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi destroying some 30 shops.
The fire started on Sunday morning when most shop owners had closed their shops.
Firefighters got to the scene and were assisted by onlookers to manage to douse the fire.
At least five fire machines were deployed to the scene to prevent the fire from spreading to other nearby shops at the enclave.
