Accra: Four siblings burnt to death at Baatsona
Four siblings have been burnt to death at Baatsona near Tempo Gates Estate in Accra after fire gutted a wooden structure they were sleeping in.
The deceased are Enoch Gavor, 11 years; twins Joyce and Joycelyn Somehi, 7; and Mary Somehi, 4.
Their mother was out selling in a shop a few meters away from where they slept when the fire started on Thursday, 3 November at about 10 pm.
Firefighters from the Kasapreko Fire Station were called to the scene to control the fire but they could not save the children.
The bodies have been deposited at the police hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
