Alajo: Two 3-year-olds found dead in broken-down car
The Nima Divisional Police Command in the Greater Accra Region has commenced investigations into the circumstances that led to the death of two children, both three years old, at a mechanic shop at Alajo, a suburb of Accra.
The bodies of the children were found on Friday, 15 October 2021 in the passenger seat of a broken-down Mercedes Benz parked at a mechanic shop.
The bodies were conveyed to the police hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy after crime scene experts had examined the scene.
The police has advised guardians and parents to take the safety of their children seriously and to always keep an eye on them whenever they are out to play.
Automobile mechanics have also been advised to enclose their shops to control access to unauthorised persons including children.
